I have been doing my genealogy for many years. It is very difficult to move forward, relying only on the memories of the father and on the information that, little by little, managed to discover. But it is quite significant. This is evidenced by Yevgeny Chernetskyi's book "Counts RONIKIER in the light of noble cases from Ukrainian archives (19th-early 20th century)".
Many documents are in the archives of Poland and will need to be found and processed. I am coming to the opinion that my mission lies precisely in the search - to bring to the surface the history of the family, which was reshaped by the Second World War. Scattering around the world family members and, leaving alive, great-grandmother.
Looking back, I realize that everything in my life is very strange. Whether it is the inevitability of fate or God's providence, who knows?
With the beginning of the terrible war that is going on in Ukraine, I found myself in Poland... Regardless of my participation in the choice of the place of stay, I found myself in the area that is connected with the life of my ancestors.
The need to share this discovery was very strong…
After regaining my composure a little, I started working on the exhibition
"KONFRONTACJA" - "CONFRONTATION"...
It was my opposition to the reality that pressed on me, taking away peace and hope...
Following my emotions, I understood that my ideas are very subjective. But I set myself the task of reflecting a personal inner state, regardless of logic, because the spontaneity of feelings was more important than anything else.
My conversation with the viewer will be very difficult to understand. I hope that my explanations will be useful to everyone who is interested in understanding them...
